Not only is Menger Hotel one of San Antonio’s most desirable locations for meetings and banquets, we offer the space and help you need to make your event successful and one to remember.

For up to 750 guests, our elegant Grand Ballroom makes your guests sit up and take notice. Choose from several intimate boardrooms that are perfect for smaller groups and professional meetings. Our catering professionals will assist in selecting menus for breakfast, coffee break, lunch, reception, and dinner. Our friendly staff will ensure all meeting and banquet requirements are met for your successful event.

Menger Grand Ballroom

Spectacular crystal chandeliers set the mood for your elegant event. Use the entire space for your guests or partition into three smaller areas, as required. Adjacent to the ballroom is a pre-function area that opens to a terrace overlooking Menger Court, a common area between the hotel and Rivercenter Mall. Both the poolside terrace and Menger Court provide inviting space for receptions under the stars.

Accommodating up to 300 guests, this space includes a large dance floor and would be a great location for your hors d’oeuvres reception.

Minuet Room

Our second largest space is the Minuet Room, the original ballroom of the Menger. Its elegant Victorian ambiance features a fireplace, dance floor, and doors opening onto a tropical courtyard and pool area. This space will accommodate up to 120 guests.

Patio Room

Decorated with a Southwestern theme, this room features log beams across the ceilings and wrought iron light fixtures. Your guests will enjoy a small dance floor and doors opening onto a tropical courtyard and pool area. The Patio Room accommodates up to 48 guests.

Cavalier Room

Accommodating up to 30 guests, this intimate space features views of the tropical courtyard.

Grant Room

For your corporate event or meeting, this room is pre-set boardroom style and features a conference table with seating for 10.

Renaissance Room

This second floor reception room is located in the original wing of the hotel next to the rotunda. Your guests will marvel at the decorative plaster ornamentation on the ceiling featuring abstracted urns, shells, lyres, and anthemion motifs. The mantelpiece is identical to the one found in the Colonial Room Restaurant. French doors open to a private balcony overlooking the Alamo Plaza. The Renaissance Room will accommodate up to 50 guests.

Sam HoustonLocated in the original wing of the hotel, the Sam Houston room features rich dark wood-paneled walls and is pre-set boardroom style.

Kampman Room

For executive meetings, our Kampman Room is pre-set boardroom style, and its conference table seats 8.
